Exceptional leaders recognize that the world is constantly changing and know that responding positively to change requires taking risks and making informed decisions. The fear of taking these risks can interfere with an organization’s ability to change and respond to current environments.
A leader cannot avoid risks but rather must understand that decisions and risks are linked and they must assure that others understand the link. This module examines three important aspects in Intelligent Risk Taking: responding to past experience by learning, charting out the risk taking process and charting out the decision making process.
